The OKCWorks Campus consists of four buildings that are pre-engineered to accommodate four large data center requirements. OKC30, in part, is home to RACK59, a 15,000 square foot colocation company. These four data center buildings (OKC10, OKC30, OKC40, and OKC50) are all currently fed by an on site 25MVA redundant sub-station (expandable to 45MVA redundant). An additional 70MVA (redundant) sub-station is proposed on-site. Each building is offered in a shell condition with varying levels of in place assets (see each building's Summary). These existing assets offer flexibility in data center design and its respective time line for completion. Additionally OKCWorks includes a 174,000 square foot office building (OKC20) ideally positioned for general office or disaster/cold space uses.
LOCATION: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
POWER: The OKCWorks Campus is currently served by an on-site OG&E sub-station that is fed by two 138kV transmission lines originating from two separate generating sources. The sub-station provides 25MVA redundant service to the campus and is easily expandable to 45MVA redundant. OKCWorks is a beneficiary of OG&E's wholesale billing rate currently at $.051/kwH. An additional 70MVA redundant sub-station is proposed.
FIBER: OKCWorks has access to self-healing fiber optic services from multiple diverse fiber entrances with multiple fiber network providers to the site. Virtually unlimited bandwidth is available from Cox Communications, AT&T, Qwest, Verizon/MCI, Sprint, Level 3/WilTel/Broadwing, or any other desired carrier. Internet services are available at multi-Gigabit speed, provided from five NAP's on diverse routes out of Oklahoma City. Because of this robust connectivity, overall nationwide trace route latency from OKCWorks is among the very lowest available in the nation.
COOLING: OKCWorks has in-place four 1,250 ton York Lithium Bromide Chillers.
SECURITY: The OKCWorks Campus is monitored by Central Security. Central Security is located within OKC30 to monitor all Campus security and to interface with individual user's security. Central Security is supported with nine Guard Stations and fencing totally encompassing the Campus' perimeter. |
